It had very low mileage at that time and had less than 1500 miles added to it during the 18 years of ownership.  It is equipped with aftermarket air conditioning and has been stored in a climate controlled environment.  Being such a rare Bentley, it has been showcased at numerous car shows on Long Island and was even used in some HBO movies. The objective was to build a car that would easily outperform a McLaren 675 LT.  This was accomplished and ultimately exceeded with this special build.  First, starting with the engine.  The catalytic converters were replaced with race grade cats, straight exhaust through a reworked rear fairing.  A modified ECU with high flow air filters and improved intake give a rear tire dyno a 789 HP (173 HP improvement over the stock 616 HP).Next, the transmission: Upgraded with a limited slip differential, race clutch and axles. On the body, a P1 style hood to cool the added front radiator.  A larger carbon fiber diffuser was installed as well as a 675 LT style front bumper, carbon side skirts, splitter and larger wing to double the downforce at speed.  the car was lowered 1\"" and a front skid plate was added.Carbotech high performance brake pads were installed as well as racing grade brake fluid.  Top grade oil and fluids were used throughout.  For added safety, a four point roll bar and six point belts were installed.  A pair of Sparco Evo XL  race bucket seats were also installed, further reducing weight by 50 lbs.  To keep everything cool, a methanol injection system, clutch and transmission cooler, update heat exchangers and the P1 heat exchanger were all added to the package. The LM001 was an off-road prototype based on the Cheetah powered by a rear mounted 189 horsepower V8 built by AMC.  Based on this design, it tested poorly, the frame was scrapped and it was redesigned into a front engine with the V12 Countach engine and called the LM002.
